As We Go….

Today marks a day that I have been looking forward to for a long time. My friend Jordan and I have been methodically planning, writing and dreaming about a new blog we are starting. I’m super excited about it and hope you will check it out. Check out As We Go here. Follow us on twitter and join the Facebook page as well.

Married: Sean and Kristin.

I was fortunate enough to photograph Sean and Kristin’s wedding. It was at the beautiful Van Noy Mansion located in Swope Park which also holds Starlight and the Kansas City Zoo. The wedding was a small gathering of family and friends and fit Kristin and Sean so well. The paper cranes they had everywhere was one of the coolest details I’ve seen at a wedding. Congrats to Sean and Kristin and thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.

And what wedding is complete without a rendition of a Flogging Molly song?

Holga Lens.

Testing.

I got some new equipment and had a willing subject to stand in for some test shots.

English Family.

I always feel really lucky to take photos of people and this was no exception. The English family is a fun trio made up of Marcus, Missi and Noah. Marcus’s brother and my friend Jordan tagged along for the fun. We braved the cold and nap time for a little holiday shoot.

True/False 2011

True/False is an awesome film festival in Columbia, MO. The whole festival is dedicated to documentary films. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work as a photographer for the last 2 years of the festival. For more about the festival check out the official site.
Some of my favorite films included:
There were way more films, all of which are worth checking out.
